Creamy Dreamy Chocolate “Milkshake”

This milkshake / smoothie is so good! And don’ t worry if you don’t like pumpkin puree. You don’t even taste it. It’s there to add sweetness without adding extra sugar.

Creamy Dreamy Chocolate “Milkshake”

3/4 to 1 cup water

1/4 cup almonds or cashews

1/2 cucumber

1/2 to 1 banana

1/4 cup pumpkin puree

Handful of romaine lettuce

2 – 3 pitted dried dates

2 tbsp. hemp hearts

2 tbsp. natural cacao powder

1 tsp. maca powder

1 tsp. vanilla

1 tbsp. prepared irish moss (optional)

  • Put all ingredients in a blender and mix until creamy and smooth.
  • Makes about 3 1/2 cups.

    • You can look at the link on prepared irish moss. It has lots of healing properties for your digestive tract. Very soothing and adds a smooth silky texture to your smoothies and nut milk. My husband and I love it 🙂
